How Mech Bros got started!
Mech Bros Tutoring cofounders are two recent Concordia University graduates from the Mechanical Engineering Program.
Just like you, we experienced the university life by drinking coffee all night long to study, trying to understand the material due to unsatisfactory teaching performance and meeting with new friends to work on interminably long assignments.Just like you, we spent time and money at Tim Hortons, Pizza Bella, Concordia LB Building and Computer Labs. We were also very frustrated with those escalators that would never work or those elevators that would always be full in H Building.
Therefore, we understand what you are going through and we are here to help! We’ve also attended crash courses given by tutoring companies to help us perform in our midterms and finals, but all of them had a mutual issue: too many students. We had experiences where twenty to thirty students would attend a crash course, and all of them would ask questions which was a complete chaos. That is not the definition of private tutoring.
Mech Bros Tutoring has a different approach where we offer small group tutoring sessions (up to 6 people) or if requested a fully private session to ensure quality teaching. We have a great team of tutors ready to teach you with new exercises and to answer to all of your questions. Also, unlike most of our competitors, we follow-up with the students after the tutoring session: “How was the exam?”, “Where were your mistakes?”, etc. This follow-up will help us understand how to adjust our teaching to help you the best we can.
Mech Bros Tutoring’s focus is to pass along the knowledge to the next students in order for them to have a great university experience.
We will be sharing information such as study tips from previous Concordia Engineering students from different backgrounds. Also, our team has COOP students who will share their experience and tips that many of you should be aware. We intend to share all of these information to you on our website and social media. Please make sure you follow us!
